I went to the mailbox yesterday and was excited to find an 8oz sample of Coco Curls. Coco Curls is a natural hair care company founded & created by Jeannell Darden in 2008, specializing in developing products that soothe & moisturize hair while retaining springy curls.
I originally came across Coco Curls because we were talking about coffee and I was having a pity party because I’ve had to give up coffee due to caffeine; Jannell offered to send me samples of organic coffee to try and she also generously offered to send me a sample of Coco Curls.
The ingredients are all plant based and include: Aloe Vera Juice, Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Cetearyl Olivate and Sorbitan Olivate, Hydroxypropyl trimonium Honey, Lactobacillus Ferment, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (and) Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract, Dehydroxanthan Gum, Fragrance Oils.
The instructions state that Coco Curls was designed to work on wet hair, so I washed my hair first to remove previous products from my hair and then two strand twisted my hair. I used a small fingertip size on each twist and applied on my detanged, wet hair. The smell of Coco Curls is wonderful it reminds me of Banana bread. My results were wonderful!! This morning my hair is very moisturized and I unraveled a few twist and I have such definition, and my hair is incredibly soft.
This a product that I will use again, the 8oz jar retails for 15.00, the 16oz jar retails for $25.00 and you can purchase them from her website www.cococurls.com. Thank you as well for the coffee, as I’m typing this review I am having a cup of the Organo Gold Gourmet Café Latte, which is absolutely delish!! I’m in heaven what a better way to start the day with beautiful hair and a great cup of coffee!!
